Aquatic complex launched in 1933, after the establishment of paid holiday in France.
Built 40 km from Paris, it included a 80-meter long swimming pool, a water slide, as well as modern water-sports facilities.
The site was slowly deserted, but the municipality bought it in 2005 with a view to bringing it back to life.
